Our family of companies have conducted hundreds of Environmental Assessments (EA), Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), Master Development Plans (MDPs) and Plans of Development (PODs) under NEPA, including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) requirements for oil and gas drilling, pipelines, power transmission lines, power plants, and many others.  We have managed extensive public consultation processes and understand the issues important to local stakeholders. We are accustomed to working side-by-side with western federal natural resource managers in the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Forest Service (USFS), United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), National Park Service (NPS) and others to identify activities that may cause environmental impacts.  Our staff has practical expertise establishing baseline environmental conditions; identifying potential project-related impacts in terms of magnitude, extent, and duration; and developing measures to avoid or mitigate potential environmental impacts. In preparing NEPA documents, we form interdisciplinary project teams composed of individuals with the requisite NEPA process knowledge and technical expertise needed to effectively undertake the full range of issues for a specific project.
